Is the Latin woman the most beautiful women in the world? Miss Universe 2009
It seems official that Latin women are the most beautiful women in the world as they swept the miss universe pageant contest for 2009 in the Bahamas. It was a show down between the girls and once again the Latin girls have proved to be the most beautiful. Miss Venezuala Stefania Fernandez won Miss universe 2009 and Miss Dominican Republic Ada Aimee De la Cruz came in second.
The Latin girls where 1,2,4 Miss Venezuala, Miss Dominican Republic, and Miss Puerto Rico. Is beauty in the eye of the beholder or is this beauty that is judged based on culture, elegance, style, representation, and uniqueness? I will say it was all of the above for when there are many beautiful girls competing for a price based on looks, the judges many have to include those who perfectly represents the culture of their people. A typical Dominican female is dark complexion, and Ada Aimee De la Cruz truly represented the Dominican female. With her added dimples on both cheeks it gave her an additional unique beauty added with a her tall gorgeous look.
So once again Miss Venezuela is Miss Universe, so if the Latin girls have been able to repeat this twice in a row, it is official that the most beautiful women in the world are the Latin girls. I watched the contestants start from 84 girls, representing 84 different countries. It was then narrowed down to 15, then to the top 4 finalists. In each round of the selection the Latin girls were making headway, then I concluded that the odds are favor of the Latin girls winning this show.
Women of color have come a long way to be noticed in the world stage of beauty, and the Latin girls have proofed that a beautiful tan is a color of beauty. The former Miss Venezuela was so excited that another Miss Venezuela won the contest, for she almost dropped the crown when placing it over the head of Miss Universe 2009.
Held in Atlantic Casino in Paradise Island, Bahamas the swim suit competition featured body shapes of elegance and beauty. They concluded with the evening gown then to questions and answers. Beauty has spoken, the new standard has been set, and it is now the reign of the women of color.
